WM Label priniting mismatch

Hello Experts,

 

We are facing an issue in WM Label priniting against a customized output type whish gets triggered(Label is printed) when a transfer order is created during initial picking with VL06P.

 

The labels get printed in a wrong sequence when a TO is created.

Eg: The 3 item is printed 1st for the 1 of 5 items.where as ideally the sequence should be 1of 5, 2 of 5 & so on.

 

Need your valuable inputs to understand the root cause for this.

Custom made picking strategie SAP WM

Dear Gurus,

 

 

For a customer I have to set up a custom made picking strategy.

 

The proces is a follow:

 

The main goal is that a several transfer order related to one delivery have approximatically the same weight and height.

 

So the first step is to check the heaviest weight item in the delivery and put this on for example pallet (Transfer order A). The seconds heaviest item of the delivery should be stored on pallet B (Transfer order B). The next step is what is the lowest pallet and put the next heaviest weight item of the delivery on the lowest pallet. This proces should be continued till all item in the delivery have been divided over sevaral transfer order. Each transfer order can be pilled to a maximum height.

 

 

The second step is to determine per pallet (per transfer order) a logical pille pattern. So put first the materials with a full pallet layer first on the pallet and put  materials with less then a pallet layer on the materials of a full pallet layer.

 

My question is which user exits can I use to realise step 1 and step 2. Based on step 1 and 2 the correct transfer orders have to be created.

Picking a maximum amount of different batches

Dear All,

 

 

I have the following customer requirement. Some customers only want to receive a maximum of 2  different batches of a material. So for example, a delivery consist of 10 pallets of material A. During picking one batch or 2 different batches of material A can be picked. If this is not possible then a error message should appear.

 

Question: which user exit can I use for above requirement?

Automatic Packing of HU in Packing Area

Hi,

I am trying to do customization for automatic packing in  Packing Area  for HU .

I have carried out the following step

                Determination of packing instruction

                Maintained Packing Transaction Profile.

                Maintained  POP

                Maintained POF

I need to maintain the Delivery Type  and Delivery Item Category.  What customization should I maintain  for these?

Manual Packing is working perfectly.

Repacking operation in SAPWM

Hi Gurus,

in

I have go the requirement where I have got stuck.

My business team wants to repack the material through HHT on ITS.

 

Business needs to packed material as per below

1- Material weight has been reduced due to dryness. Now business needs to repack to increase the pack

Pack material weight 100 kg. now it has been to reduced is 98 kg. wants to bring it back to 100 kg against.

 

2- material weight 100 kg pack client wants 2pack of 50 kg. so repacking required to make two pack of 50 kg.

 

batch number will be changed in this scernario.

 

A batch number will be consumed .

Transfer Order Printing

In table T329D if the wildcard search is used '***' it is not possible to assign a printer to the item line as this causes the validation to table T301 to fail.  For replenishment transfer orders with movement type 320, is it possible to always print at the same printer without defining in T329D a SRC / DST storage type.  Any advice would be very welcome.  Thanks in advance.

Outbound delivery WM status blanco until I enter batch

Dear experts,

 

We have setup manual batch determination in outbound delivery but we now also want to setup automatich batch determination in WM (TO creation).

However, I cannot create my TO as the status in the outbound delivery says not relevant for TO (WM status = blanco) until I enter a batch.

 

Any idea what configuration causes this behavior?

I have got a requirement from client. My client wants to pick the stock against outbound delivery from the WH. He wants to count material two times

1- once when material is brought to shipping point.

2- when material is loaded.

VT20 - No shipments being displayed

Running ECC6

 

I have created shipments (inbound shipments type 0010) which I can see in VT11 and VT12 - but I am unable to get anything to display in VT20?

 

Is there something specific you have to do to use VT20?

 

What I am after is something which shows current status e.g. Load end, Shipment Complete etc status in a more user friendly manner than VT11, VT12

 

Or if there is a way of showing list of inbound deliveries with shipment number and its status along side it.

Warehouse 001 does not exist to copy from in our ERP system

Trying to create a new warehouse in warehouse management. Went to the class SCM630, they said to copy from warehouse 001. But we don't have warehouse 001 to copy from in our ECC 6.1. Where can we go to acquire that warehouse 001 setup?

HU unassigned from outbound delivery before PGI.

Hi,

 

We have the below scenario with one of client.

 

User is transferring material from HU managed storage location to non HU managed storage location.

 

1. User did transfer posting using MIGO. Outbound delivery gets created.

2. With reference to outbound delivery user created Pick TO and then confirmed the TO. HU get assigned to outbound delivery.

3. Then user manually unassigned HU from outbound delivery and saved it.

4. Now when user try to post PGI, get error "No HUs have been transferred for material ABC 0100 0089" Msg No L9605 .

5. System is not allowing for manual assignment of HU to outbound delivery.

6. Now HU status is Non assigned HU in HU03.

7. Outbound delivery status in Fully picked, hence system is not allowing to create new TO against same delivery.


Can you please explain how to do PGI in this case or how to reassign same HU to outbound delivery?

Delayed Delivery Update (LX47)

Hi

 

Need some help understanding an issue that I am having with txn LX47.

 

We are using STO's and OBD's to move stock between storage locations at the same plant. We are using WM under the main storage location and IM at the others. Reservations are created against the IM Slocs with the WM Sloc as the source. An Sloc to Sloc STO is then created and an associated OBD. We then, via VL06O, create TO's for mixed deliveries and have configured the delayed delivery update within the shipping control to "3 Delayed update at each confirmation of a TO item". We are using staging areas within the warehouse and are set for 2 step confirmation.

 

Process

  1. Create reservations
  2. Create STO
  3. Create OBD
  4. Create Group TO (Mixed Deliveries)
  5. Pick TO items (Step 1)
  6. Confirm TO into Staging Area (Step 2)
  7. Create Shipment
  8. Process Shipment (PGI from WM Sloc and GR into IM Sloc)
  9. GI from IM Sloc against reservation.

 

All works well except for line 6 (Step 2 TO Confirmation) and only then, when the final TO line item is confirmed. On a 3 lined TO, there is no problem when I confirm lines 1 & 2 but as soon as I confirm the final line, the TO fails to update the OBD and the TO sits in LX47 waiting to be cleared.

 

I have tried adjusting the late exclusive block waiting time (OMJI) up to the max 999 and tried the other delayed update options 1 & 2, but still this keeps happening.

 

Anyone got any ideas as to why it only 'locks' when confirming the last TO item and what I can do the resolve ?

Inventory couting document is blocking storage bin

Hi all,

 

i want to delete a storage bin, but i am not able to do this since a inventory document is blocking this.

The inventory document however has been cancelled a long time ago. I can find it in table LINV but i cannot see it in LI03n. The quant mentioned in LINV for the counting document does not exist either.

Does anyone have an idea how to solve this?

LT22 - Confirmation Status is appearing as symbol after exporting in excel

Hi Experts,

 

Please recently we have upgraded to EHP 7 and we facing issue with LT22 report as confirmation status symbol is appearing as symbol after exporting to excel.

Previously it will show symbol in report and after export to excel it will text. Please advice.

WM related query

Hello Experts

 

I have searched quite a bit on WM integration with PP. Have some specific queries.

 

1) Does 261 movement happen for the pick parts / backflush parts at all , at any part of the cycle ? ( i mean to say that material staging is done upto the bin level - hence iam of the opinion that 261 mvt should happen - either manually / automatically )

 

2) How does PSA come into picture ? Is it the destination ?

 

3) How will Storage Location be integrated with WM PP if 261 does not happen ? I mean to say in the prod order we will be having the parts with Storage Location mentioned in the Material master.

 

4) For the header material how will WM PP work ? meaning in our case we will not be storing the finished goods , we would be only moving it to the bin.

Print a Pick-List (VL02N)

Dear all,

 

I would like to print my pick-list but it's impossible. Indeed the message N° VL086 appears.

Therefore I can print my Delivery Note.

 

I have differents questions.

 

I would like to know if it is possible to print the pick list automatically and if is there an transaction to see it ?

 

Furthermore, I would like to know why my pick-list can't be printed. Have you an idea or the solution to my problem

Move SU with multiple item problem

Hi, expert

   There is a requirement that we need a function like LT09. The LT09 is only move one SU(storage unit) to new place. We want to move multiple SU(s) in one TO, the SU(s) may have multiple item(quants). We tried FM 'L_TO_CREATE_MOVE_SU', but it can't move multiple SUs with one TO. We using FM 'L_TO_CREATE_MULTIPLE' can satisfy the requirement if every SU only has one item(quants). If the SU have multiple items, the system will create new SU no for every item. This is not satisfied for customer requirement.  Any suggestion is appreciated.

Shipment Cost Freight Scenario

Hi All,

My client is an automotive company. We want the freight to be determined (tk11) on the below scenario.

 

- In a shipment there can be different quantities of more than 1 brand. The transporter has agreed for a fixed freight per route for a particular brand. So if a transporter takes:

 

1. 2 cars of Brand A

2. 3 cars of Brand B

 

on a particular route, say Route A, the transporter has set per brand freight rate for that route. For another route say B, the freight rate would be different per quantity of a brand of car.

 

 

Example 1:

Shipment is going on Route A:  It has total of 5 cars in it ;2 cars of Brand A and 3 cars of Brand B.

Brand A=> PKR 10,000/car, so if there are 2 cars of brand A, the freight would be PKR 20,000 for Brand A cars

Brand B=> PKR 20,000/car,  so if there are 3 cars of brand B, the freight would be PKR 60,000 for Brand B cars

The total freight of the shipment would be PKR 80,000.

 

 

 

Example 2:

Shipment is going on Route B:  It has total of 3 cars in it ;2 cars of Brand A and 1 car of Brand B.

Brand A=> PKR 10,000/car, so if there are 2 cars of brand A, the freight would be PKR 20,000 for Brand A cars

Brand B=> PKR 20,000/car,  so if there are 1 car of brand B, the freight would be PKR 20,000 for Brand B car.

The total freight of the shipment would be PKR 40,000.


Given the above scenario, what access sequence can i make in pricing customization for calculating the freights for a shipment?

SAP WM special movement indicator in MFBF

Hi Team

 

We have the below requirement.

 

The same material is being produced in different production line. The material will be put way to the WM storage types based on the line in which they are produced.

 

The business will run MFBF transaction on the RF device ( Repetitive manufacturing - GR with reference to FG, production version) . We understand that this can be achieved with special movement indicator. If we can pass different special movement indicator for different production lines, then different put away storage types can be determined.

 

My question is " Is it possible to pass the value for special movement indicator to the BAPI ,which can perform MFBF? "

Stock is not updated after posting physical inventory difference in WM

Hello,

I have created inventory document during physical inventory. I posted WM difference in LI 20  & Inventory posting in LI21 however the stock is not updated in system.There is no TO generated for differences quantity (Storage type 999) when I check at table level (LINV).

Could you please help me  to find root cause of this issue.
