Customer specific shipping labels

Hi All,

 

I am dealing with automotive client that ships to automotive customers and each customers have their own specific shipping labels for boxes (3S) and pallets (4S). Our challenge is we have close to 200 customer specific labels to be developed in SAP and this is putting the risk to development timelines. We are currently putting an effort to harmonize the labels and go back to customers that are less critical to move to standard shipping labels.

 

I want to understand if you have come across similar requirement and if yes, how it was handled.

RF queue changes

Hi

 

Could anyone advise if queues become "locked" when a transfer order is changed from one queue to another.

 

Our transfer orders are 2 step, and when the first step is confirmed our programs then change the queue for the second step to be actioned.

 

We have had instance where the queue change has not occured and can find no reason for it.

 

Is it possilbe that if user1 confirmed a first step pick of transferorder1 at the same time user2 confirmed transferorder2 that one or both might not be able to complete?

Picking transfer order Split for as per Delivery Qty

Dear All,

 

Business has a requirement where Transfer order has to be split as per Qty wise.

 

For Example:

 

Delivery Qty is 100 EA and these 100 cant be pick at a time. So, these picking transfer order should get split into 10-10 qty transfer order.

Means 10 Transfer order with 10 qty should get created.

Material has fixed location and storage type is also one.

 

How can we achieve this.?

Hello Team,

 

I have query related to above error.

 

I created a outbound delivery from a plant/SLOC which is HU and WM managed.

 

When i create a TO against this outbound delivery, Destination HU gets automatically populated which is not present in the warehouse.

 

Delivery quantity is 15 KG. In stock i have HU of 25 KG. Hence i would need to execute Pick-HU functionality.

 

When i create TO, it automatically populated destination HU at 916, 008***** which is not in the system. This can be considered as Pick-HU but again when i enter Source HU, destination HU is automatically removed from that field.

 

Then i try to create pick-HU to assign to TO using LH01. After entering that tcode, new HU number is generated at 916, 008**** but while saving it gives below error:

 

Program exited without data change

Message no. L3563

 

In TO it still has old HU number at destination which was automatically generated at the time of creation of TO.

 

Why is this HU number generated. Even if this HU number is generated, why we cannot assign pick HU to this TO?

In our system it's always blank.

Materials within a specific SLOC is not visable in LS24.

Dear Community,

 

Within our plant, there are materials within an SLOC that can be viewed in MB52 and MMBE.  However, they will not show up in LS24.  Our goal is to assign storage bins for materials within this SLOC and view them in LS24.  Any advice on where to begin?  Thanks very much for your time.

Message L3 009 During Stock Putaway with Manual Strategy

I've looked at both these threads which discusses this error message but they are not relevant to my situation.

I've a storage type with no putaway strategy "manual stock placement". I've defined strategies for both storage type and storage section and updated the material master accordingly. There is also plenty of storage bins against the storage type/section.

 

However, when I try to putaway stock (LT06), I get the error message L3009. If I put the bin, the error goes away, but I don't think there should be an error message to begin with because I'm using "manual stock placement".

 

Have you faced the same issue for storage types with "manual stock placement"?

Disable Remove Button From Shipment Through SHD0

Greetings,

 

I want to Disable Remove button from shipment through SHD0. I went in Menu Functions and there i have entered Program Name : "SAPMV56A" and Status : "TRA_PLANNING". Then going in Functions and selected Function Key Settings. And then select TRDL remove. But I am not able to disable remove button.

Hi,

 

I have a question with regards to a configuring the route determination, our question is not about configuring the route but having to replace one of the old routes records to a new route.

 

SPRO  LE  Shipping  Routes  Route Determination  Maintain Route Determination.

We have created a route and all the necessary setup in the spro, and we realize that there are more than 3000 existing old route determination records (i.e. in table TROLZ) which need to be replaced with the new route. It will be impossible for us to manually replace each of the route records on above SPRO path one by one.

 

Question:

1 u2013 I am thinking about using LSMW, and am wondering if this is possible because there are two method in LSMW:

 

Method 1 u2013 Standard Batch/Direct Input. Here the Object drop-down box field does not have route determination object as it only have all the standard master data (i.e. material master, vendor, PIR, etc).

 

Method 2 u2013 Recording.  How to perform recording as this is a configuration and not a business transaction like open PO, SO with transaction code?

 

Please share how to upload this new route and if LSMW is the right way, I am stuck on either the method 1 or method 2. Or is there any other way beside LSMW (please describe detail).

Problem in 2-step picking of delivery

Hello experts,

 

I am doing 2-step picking of 2 deliveries which contain Material with 2-step picking activated in Mat. Master(WM1 view).  only customization done is--->

Logistics Execution ->Warehouse Management -> Interfaces -> Shipping -> 2-step Picking. I have created a group for the 2 deliveries in VG01. But when running LT72 and executing with the Group no. system is throwing error "Group XXXX does not exist". Am I missing any other customization ??? Pls help.

Stock transfer between storage locations of same plant

Hi all!

 

Im just a junior and i need your help.

 

I want to transfer materials from a storage location to another storage location of same plant. I checked other discussions and tried to do this using MB1B but this Tcode did not help me because i want to keep storage unit numbers. While im using MB1B, the material is sent to 921 - Transfer storage type and when the material is placed 921 im losing storage unit number. I want to keep this number to follow the material moves.

 

How can i keep the number while im transferring the material between storage locations within same plant ?

STO transfer - generating new SU label ahead of time

I have a storage unit at a 3PL storage location, and I need to transfer it via 2-step STO to the main plant storage location. Both SLOCs are SU-managed and assigned to same warehouse. The SU could be a full pallet or partial pallet pick. My requirement is for the 3PL to do any new SU label generation and affixing to item, so that receivers in the main plant don't have to do that task. I've tried a couple things and have hit dead ends:

1) Can't make 921 Transfer interim storage type SU managed as negative stock needs to be allowed

2) Preplanning with pick ID point -- Problem here is that my picked quantity would be the one put back in storage. I need it other way around...picked quantity remains in some temp storage type with new SU. Plus, same #1 issue remains

 

Only other option I can think of is for 3PL to complete the GR step of STO so new SU gets generated. The SU would have to go to a temp storage type (using special movement indicator?), for the main plant Receiver to put away into final destination. I should add that in this scenario, I might as well not have the 3PL be on WM to simplify their SAP process.

 

Is this the best approach? Am I missing any other options? (I thought about 2-step confirmation, but the destination in main plant should only be dynamically determined upon physical receipt.)

Dear All,

 

We are exploring WM material staging & have done all the required configuration.

 

After testing the whole cycle we do have some queries for which we need guidance from SAP gurus.

 

We have defined production supply area & assigned the production shop floor storage location to it.

 

After the release of production order the we run LP10 & TR has been created.

 

We process that TR & convert it to TO. While TO is being created the system gives error if the stock is not available at production shop floor storage location.

 

In normal material staging (without WM) we transfer the stock from main storage location to production shop floor with MF60. It doesn't work once WM material staging is active.

 

Could you please help me to understand what should be the ideal flow with WM material staging?

 

Should I expect two TRs one from main storage location to production shop floor for replenishment (if the stock is not available) & another one from production shop floor to supply area (interim storage bin)?

Hi Friends,

 

I do staging for the component with release order part LP12. so Material is always consumed from Fixed bin on confirmation of the production order.

 

So on the cancellation of the production order confirmation I want that component to be available in the fix bin. But when I checked material document it has already created transfer requirement for movement 262.

 

what I want is that without creation of such Transfer requirement material to be available in the Bin which is mentioned in the control cycle i.e. the bin from which I had consumed mateiral.

Hi All,

 

    We need to have our Weighing Scales integrated with SAP to capture the READINGS for parcels / cartons / shipments automatically.

    I observe there is a provision for maintaining RFC connection , Scale Checkbox etc in SPRO--->Logistics Exec ---> Packing --->Set profile for packing  w.r.t  HUPAST  tcode ...

 

    Would you plz help me with some work-arounds ...???

LT03 - Maintain number range interval "" for quants.

Dear all,

 

I am facing a problem when I do the transfer order creation by T Code - LT03 . A pop-up message appears "Maintain number range interval "" for quants." I checked number range interval of quants in the WM customizing,

 

I checked and maintained in t-code OMLW.

I also checked and maintain for LE->WM->ACTIVITY->PI->Maintain Number Range


all seems ok. even though i am getting same error.

 

Could you tell me how to solve this problem?

Quant on Dynamic Bin - TO pick not confirmed

Hi Expert,

 

I am facing with a problem at one of my client.

 

We have a replenishment delivery created from an stock transfer PO, for which a TO have been created automatically. From there, all is good.

 

But as the TO is not confirmed we dont have a quant for this movement. The result is that we cannot see stock for that TO in LS24 under the delivery number.

 

I tried to find the config to control the Quant creation even if TO is not confirmed but was unable to find it.

 

Does anyone can help?
