HUM big issue

Dear all,

I'm newbie in HUM module. We are discussing with our customer to confirm if HUM is needed or not.

Please i have these following questions :

- Let's say, we have 3 box to manage = > 3 boxes;

- Each box is identified with unique number = > Box 1 = 100; Box 2 = 200; Box 3 = 300;

We have to transport box with batch from storage location 1 to storage location 2

1/ It is possible to identify boxes in SAP with a unique number ? And re-use the same box with unpacking and repacking ? So that suppose that we have status per box for example :

Empty Box, Not Empty Box
